Usage guide

How to use it?

For V60 02, 15g ground coffee + 250ml water (1:16 ratio), 90-93°C. Place and pre-wet the paper filter (removes paper taste). 30-second bloom (50ml water), then pour the remaining water in 4 waves — flow completes in about 2.5-3 minutes.

What is the difference between sizes 01, 02 and 03?

01 → 1-2 cups (10-15g coffee). 02 → 1-4 cups (15-25g coffee, the most common size). 03 → 1-6 cups (25-40g coffee, for office and batch brewing).

Plastic, glass or ceramic — which material is better?

Glass holds heat briefly, the most familiar taste. Ceramic holds heat longer but needs preheating. Plastic (BPA-free) — light, unbreakable, doesn't retain heat; ideal for daily + travel.

Is using filter paper mandatory?

Paper filters are standard for V60; white or brown (bleached vs unbleached). Bamboo/abaca filters give faster flow. Metal mesh + stainless steel drippers are for paperless brewing.

How do I clean the dripper?

Rinse with warm water after each use. Scrub with baking soda weekly (oil build-up). Dishwasher: most plastic/ceramic are suitable, check the label.
